The Crafters Group meets in the Fellowship Hall at 10:00 am on the first three Tuesday mornings of the month. Each brings their own craft–knitting, crocheting, cross-stitching, sewing, card making– and they do their crafting and chatting at the same time.  All are welcome.

Are you retired? Looking for fun, fellowship, and adventure? Do you want to grow intellectually and expand your horizons? We have the group for you –“West of 60″. Come and join us for some unique activities to explore, taste, and experience our city and beyond.

Photos of our outings can be seen here.

Caregivers with pre-school children are invited to drop in to the church Fellowship Hall to join other parents and children. The kids will enjoy the space to play, run, jump in a small “Jumpy Castle”, or use the various ride-on toys. Adults have opportunity to enjoy a coffee or tea, chat together and relax. Drop in: any time from 9am-11am Thursdays. All are welcome.

Friendship Group is dedicated to sharing God’s love with those who have mental disabilities, to provide them with opportunities to worship and learn, and to participate more fully as active members of God’s family.

The group meets on Monday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, at Covenant Christian Reformed Church (19010 – 87th Avenue).

Regular meetings include Bible stories, singing, games, fun, and friendship. Each participant is partnered with an adult volunteer to encourage a strong and lasting relationship.

For more information on the program please call 780-443-2303.

Friendship Group believes that:

  • Everyone is created in God’s image.
  • Everyone is an integral part of God’s family.
  • Everyone deserves an opportunity to learn about God’s love.
  • Everyone should have the opportunity to become an active member of God’s family.
  • Redemption is a gift from God, not dependent on any level of human intellect.
