Stony Plain excursion 5 July 2017

On 5 July 2017 a busload of West of  60-ers traveled to Stony Plain. The first stop was for  tour of the Rehoboth Christian Ministries facilities, including seeing some of its clients being helped. Next came a guided bus tour of a dozen or more of the town’s 35 large murals, in which each of the people depicted is a current or past inhabitant of Stony Plain. Lunch at the Pioneer Museum Tea House and a visit to many of the fine exhibits in the museum concluded the excursion.
