Written and directed by Rein Selles, a member of West End CRC.

What happens when the gospel writer, Luke, meets up with a group of village children gathered at the community well, confused and struggling with all they were hearing about Jesus?

Chana ‘Who are you, mister?
Luke “My name is Luke and I am a physician,”
Chana “A DOCTOR?”  (to the others at the well) “He’s a DOCTOR”
Children (All come out with health complaints at once)
Andrew “Can you look at arm (flapping it back and forth)? I fell yesterday!”
Luke (Laughing) You all look fine to me!
Bar “What are you doing here?”
Luke “I am on my way home. I have been investigating the life of the Messiah, Jesus Christ.
Children (nodding) “Oh, we’ve heard of him.”

Amid the conversation and rumors, Dr. Luke steps in. He tells what he knows and what he has found through his research.  At the well, the children hear the true story of Christmas from the one who wrote it for all of us.
